The Black Ice Story

At Black Ice, we believe you shouldn’t have to choose between a caffeinated pick-me-up and a cool treat. Born right here in Abilene, our mobile café brings together life’s simple pleasures—specialty coffee, handcrafted shaved ice, and the softest serve treats—under one roof (or awning). Whether you’re fueling up for a long day of sports or cooling off on a summer afternoon, we’ve got you covered.Our story began with a love for community and a passion for flavor. As lifelong Abilenian's, we saw a gap in the local scene: plenty of coffee shops, plenty of snow-cone trucks, but never both. So we set out to change the game—sourcing ethically roasted beans from local roasters and shaved ice syrups poured in house, using only the highest quality syrups. Every cup and cone is made fresh to order, ensuring each sip and scoop is exactly what you crave.More than just a snow cone or coffee truck, Black Ice is built for families and fueled by fun. You’ll find us at neighborhood gatherings, sports events, and weekend markets—anywhere folks gather to laugh, play, and connect.
